INCUBATION
Technological process in incubator-house begins from reception of the eggs and finishes the realization of the young animals or their disembarkation to the buildings.
Turkeys' eggs are gauged by mass on 2-3 weight categories to get homogeneous on mass and quality daily young animals and to reduce the term of incubation. Turkeys' eggs on weight categories are put with interval 8 hours, laid vertically sharp side down.
Temperature regime foe the first 5 days 37,8 - 38°C; 6 - 12 days 37,6 - 37,8°C; 13-25 days 37,5 - 37, 6°C; on the brood 37 - 37,2°C. Putting eggs for инкубацию is made in warm safe incubator equipped by the devices and balanced system of ventilation. It is impossible to put cold eggs into the machine as it leads to the falling of condensation and delays going out of the incubator to the working regime. Warming up the incubator should take not more than 4 hours under closed lids of ventilation and turned the moisturizer off. It is impossible to put into the incubator turkeys' eggs with the eggs of other kinds of poultry. Before the инкубация begins, eggs are subjected to the disinfection on the incubator by the steams of formaldehyde (on 1m3 30 ml of technical 40% formalin, 20 g potassium permanganate, 15 ml of water) during 20 minutes in special camera not later than 2 hours after collection.
Pedigree eggs of the certain lines or pedigree groups before the transfer to the brood are put into the separate trays and each egg is put into the separate cell for individual calculation of the origin of young animals.
Before groove of the turkey chicks from grooving camera of incubator they are subjected to the aerosol cultivation by the solution of antibiotics with the help of aerosol generator SAG-1, SAG-2 during 5-7 minutes.
